They do have to have the same amount of verts/faces (or less) than the original model you're replacing though. Though it's not down to a science the people that wrote Ohana never really figured out how the bone rigging works, so all the models exported/imported with Ohana don't keep them. There's not much I can really do from here and can't seem to get any further so any help would be very much appreciated.Ĭlick to expand.Yes. There are videos on youtube of edited objects in sun/moon so there's a way, just pretty much no documentation on how to do it (at least from the many, many threads I have trailed through through numerous google results) so I was just wondering if anyone could help me as to uploading a copy of Ohana3DS XY (or any version with the fuctionality I mentioned in the first paragraph) or could help me in importing edited models back into Sun/Moon. mbe format objects so I tried to download a trial version but they haven't sent me a verification e-mail yet and I can't really be bothered to pursue that line any further as I might be barking up the wrong tree entirely.Īnyway, it has been done. I found this program that seemed to be able to open. mbe files I thought it might have the functionality to export it as a. mbe format, so I thought that if I found something that opens. 147 files but it cost money and I could see it easily not being relevant at all to what I'm trying to do. It looks like it was possible here but that version of Ohana3DS has been removed on github and the latest ReBirth version which I have now doesn't seem to have the option for replacing bch files etc (I think Pokemon Sun doesn't use bch files though? I would switch to modding x/y or alpha ruby/omega sapphire if I could find the older version of Ohana3DS and get this to work probably). I am trying to find out how to replace models in any Pokemon game but specifically Pokemon Sun As if to spite you, the Name Rater will declare the names of outsider Pokemon to be absolutely impeccable (even ones that don’t actually have a nickname), and will say no more.Note: I am referring to models I have edited - not replacing models from Sun/Moon with models from other games. Any Pokemon received via trades or in-game events cannot have their names changed. Note that you can only change the nicknames of Pokemon for whom you are the original trainer. If you want to simplify things by removing its identity entirely, tapping on the Pokemon’s sprite will revert their name back to the species’ name. Though he claims that his profession is to rate the quality of names, in actuality, nothing is ever to his satisfaction, and he will offer to change it to something better suited. He can be found in the Alola Tourist Bureau in Heahea City – just look for the silver-haired gentlemen in the festive shirt. Fortunately, the Name Rater can erase these mistakes by allowing you to give your Pokemon a brand new moniker. The pressure of naming a newly captured Pokemon on the spot can lead to mistakes being made, and may sometimes yield a crummy sobriquet that haunts you every time you send it into battle.
